Get back to nature & enjoy Disney World at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, where you'll find family fun as big as the great outdoors.  Nestled on 750 wooded acres of lush pine and cypress trees, the fully-equipped campsites let you camp out in comfort.  Time seems to slow down while you wander the quiet trails with roaming ducks, deer and rabbits.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort opened in 1971 & is one of the original accommodations at Walt Disney World Resort.  Recent improvements include wider campsite entrances & enlarged paving at many sites.  With the convenience of pull-through check-in, you'll get in & set up easily, even if you're maneuvering a larger rig.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offers 4 different types of campsites, including Premium Campsites.  They can accommodate everything from tents to 45-foot and longer vehicles, with a maximum 10 Guests per site.  Amenities vary, but each campsite is equipped with privacy-enhancing landscaping, water, cable television and electrical hook-ups, premium picnic tables and a charcoal grill.  Most locations also include sewer hook-up.  High-speed internet access is available for an additional fee.

Groups of 20 or more may reserve the tents-only Creekside Meadow campsite.  This is a very rustic area that Scout Troops & Schools have used for their Camp Outings.

Air-conditioned Comfort Stations throughout the campsite loops feature private toilets and showers, laundry facilities, telephones and ice machines.

Non-camping family or friends can join you in the Wilderness.  The nearby Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort provide a rustic-style experience in individual cabins that are fully equipped with all the comforts of home.

You'll find lots to do within the Resort's spacious grounds.  Seasonally, be sure to catch Mickey's Backyard BBQ Character Dining at the Fort Wilderness Pavilion.

Explore the "Backcountry" aboard a Segway personal transporter or stroll over to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch for carriage, wagon or horseback rides, or for younger Guests, pony rides.

Nearby are Trail's End Restaurant and Crockett's Tavern—and the very popular Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner show.  For fun on the water, the marina at Bay Lake rents SeaRaycers, pontoon boats and other watercraft, and offers catch-and-release fishing expeditions.

Meadow Recreation Area's outdoor theater is home to the nightly Chip 'n' Dale "Sing-a-Long" and marshmallow roast, followed by a screening of a classic Disney movie.  Other amenities you can enjoy are: Tennis, Volleyball, Swimming, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, & Archery.  You can even rent Bicycles or a Golf Cart at the Bike Barn.  Electric Golf Carts rent by the day for around $60 to $70 a day, depending on the season.

They will allow you to make reservations at Disney's Fort Wilderness 1 1/2 years out and you can rent Golf Carts 1 year in advance.
