REO Speedwagon

Since their first album in 1971, REO Speedwagon has released 17 albums, with 13 Top 40 hits including 2 Billboard #1 hits. Kevin Cronin is the lead vocalist & he was born on October 6th, 1951 in Evanston, Illinois. They are an American Rock Band formed in 1967 out of Champaign, Illinois. Interesting note, they got their name from REO Speed Wagon, a flatbed truck manufactured by the REO Motor Car Company. REO are the initials of the founder, Ransom Eli Olds who also founded Oldsmobile.
