The Universal Orlando Resort is the largest property of the Universal Studios theme parks.

It consists of:  2 theme parks - Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure; one dining & entertainment district - Universal CityWalk; two multi-level parking structures; and three themed Loews Hotels - Royal Pacific Resort , Hard Rock Hotel , & Portofino Bay Hotel.

The Universal Orlando Resort opened on June 7th, 1990 with Universal Studios Florida.  In 1999 the resort expanded, adding Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk.  The Universal Orlando Resort is much more compact than Walt Disney World so everything is conveniently located and easily accessible by water taxi or beautifully landscaped walkways.

Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure’s park hours vary from day to day depending on the season.  They have a few types of theme park tickets along with an Annual Pass.  For more information on tickets call 407-363-8000.  Ask about the Universal Meal Deal and the unlimited soft drink option when you call.  Universal Orlando Resort will accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and Diners Club credit cards.  There are 9 ATMs located throughout Universal Orlando Resort.  Once inside the resort, check with a team member for the one that is most convenient to you.
