The Upper Gold Coast is the region from Jupiter down to just north of Ft. Lauderdale. It includes Jupiter, Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, and Pompano Beach.
The Gold Coast got its name from the coins that used to wash up on shore due to the many Spanish Galleons that sank off the coast carrying large amounts of silver & gold coins.
Now the gold in Gold Coast is represented by the fabulous wealth that settled in the area.
When you visit the Gold Coast, bring your surf boards and boogie boards for some gnarly waves in the Atlantic Ocean.
