Ask any girl under the age of 21, and they will know who Justin Bieber is.

Ask any adult who he is, and they won't even know how to pronounce his last name.

Justin Bieber has become famous from the little used Adult Medium, YouTube.  Justin was discovered by his manager, Scooter Braun and millions of fans from the YouTube Generation.

Shortly after Justin hired his manager, Scooter flew Justin to Atlanta, Georgia to consult with Usher and then signed a record deal with Island Records.

When Justin Bieber was 12 years old he entered a local singing competition in his home town and got second.  He has taught himself how to play the Piano, Drums, Guitar, and Trumpet.

In late 2007 Justin and his mother began posting videos on YouTube so his family and friends that could not attend his performances would be able to view his talent.  They would post his cover versions of songs by artists such as Usher, Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake.

He was soon approached by a Toronto-based company called Rapid Discovery Media, who assisted him in running his YouTube and MySpace accounts, producing, editing and promoting his videos.  After posting his rendition of Chris Brown's "With You", Brown personally called Bieber and congratulated him on his YouTube recognition.

Justin Bieber is from Stratford, Ontario, Canada and he was born on March 14th, 1994.  He will be Ringing in the Holidays with Radio Disney at Celebration Town Center as their featured artist on December 19th, 2009.

This is a FREE EVENT.

Make sure you dress appropriately because, "Now Snowing Nightly" will be going on that evening.  The snow will start flying at 6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00pm, and 9:00pm.

"Now Snowing Nightly" will be taking place through the month of December.

For more information on the events at Celebration Town Center, go to the ToddsOrlando December Calendar and click on December 19th.

Our calendars provide all the Home Schedules for the Florida teams in the National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League, United Football League, National Lacrosse League, and the 5 large Universities in the State of Florida.

The Orange Bowl is the annual American College Football Bowl Game played at LandShark Stadium just outside Miami, Florida.  Its current full name is the FedEx Orange Bowl.  FedEx has sponsored the event since 1989.

The Orange Bowl has been played annually since 1935.  The Orange Bowl is the fourth-oldest bowl game in the country, behind the Rose Bowl (first played 1902, played annually since 1916), the Sun Bowl, and the Sugar Bowl (played annually since 1934).  The Orange Bowl is also a member of the Bowl Championship Series.

The Orange Bowl hosted the BCS National Championship Game in 2001 and 2005.  However, since the 2006 season, the BCS National Championship Game has been a stand-alone event, hosted by the local bowl organization one week following the New Year's Day bowl games.

The Orange Bowl Committee hosted two games in 2009.  They hosted the 2009 Orange Bowl on January 1 and the 2009 BCS National Championship Game on January 8, both at LandShark Stadium.

Bear The Green Dog's Green Tip Of The Week

Rain Water Barrel Bear

My Uncle Kenny has taught me the importance of Rain Water Harvesting.  You can harvest Rain Water with very little effort by adding a Rain Barrel to your downspouts.  I helped my Uncle Kenny add several Rain Barrels to all his downspouts for more rain water collection, then I take the hose to water the garden.

To get a rough idea of how much Rain Water you can collect, multiply the length of your roof by the width to get the square footage of your roof.  Then multiply the square footage by average annual rainfall.

As little as a quarter-inch rain fall on an average home can yield over 200 gallons of water.  A rain barrel can be filled within a matter of minutes during a good rain.

This Rain Water can be used for all your landscaping needs.  Since that accounts for up to 70 percent of the average homeowners consumption of water, you can really make a difference.

Rain barrels collect and store rain water for future use.  By collecting water from your roof, you will:

* Reduce runoff and erosion

* Reduce water consumption and save on your water bill

* Allow more rain water to soak in to the ground over time

* Reduce strain on urban sewer systems

Sometimes I have a hard time getting this water spicket turned on, but when I do, watch out.  My human Dad doesn't like it when I get his shoes all wet.

I love playing in the water on Hot & Sunny Days.

May I use the photo of Bear holding the rain barrel hose for use in a talk on garden maintenance and rain water as watering source?
